Motion
An attempt to visualize energy relations within a Newton's cradle is made by translating impact, transfer and dissipation of motion into contrasting, color-shifting surface textures.
perpetuum (Lat. [pɛrˈpɛ.tu.um]) 'Continuous, everlasting', referring to a sustained or self-perpetuating state of motion or process.
pendulum (Latin pendulum): 'swinging weight', a body suspended from a fixed point that oscillates under the influence of gravity.
